We Tredzo, are a not-for-profit organization or a NGO based in Gampaha, Sri Lanka. Our website address is https://tredzo.org. We are  grateful to all of its supporters including those who contribute time, material and/or money to help us continue doing our work. We maintains strict optimist and donor privacy policies to protect the integrity and privacy of personal information gathered from our supporters/donors or visitors.

This document outline how the organization collects, uses, protects, and shares personal information of its members, donors, volunteers, and any other individuals it interacts with. This Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in Tredzo website. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

Terms and Conditions

We do not sell, exchange or rent your personal information to any organization or individual. We will not divulge personal information to any other organization or individual other than that necessary to transact, fulfill and or account for online donations that you have authorized.

Tredzo will only use your name, country, address, phone number, email & the IP address if we need to verify information or to thank you for your contribution, ask for your opinion, request your assistance, or invite you to a special event or any other matter as decided by the team.

This information helps us in serving you better. Needless to say we are bound to co-operate fully when situation requires us to do so, like by law or legal process, we have to provide information about our supporters. However, Tredzo foundation does have the liberty to share the personal information with our internal team to better serve you and the needs of our organisation.

Personal information stored in Tredzo foundation database is protected with a secured login with authentication, assignment of a unique ID to each person with computer access and user IDs are deactivated or terminated as needed. We give training to our staff in how to handle information securely.

What personal data do we collect and why do we collect it

When donors donate for projects we collect the donor’s personal data such as name, country, address, phone number, email & donors’s IP address.

The collected information could be used for;

To process your donation

To send you a receipt for your donation

To send you a thank you note for your donation or volunteering communication, donation processing or any other legitimate activities to prevent fraud.

To respond to your questions or comments

To send you additional information about Tredzo foundation projects

The collected information could be used for identifying the specific user who enter the comment. And unless it is reviewed and approved by the site’s management it will not be visible for public.

Tredzo foundation will not use personal information in any way other than as described under Terms & Conditions. Exceptions to these are limited to sharing personal information to cooperate with law enforcement officials.

Children’s Information

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. We encourage parents and guardians to observe, participate in, and/or monitor and guide their online activity.

Tredzo does not knowingly collect any Personal Identifiable Information from children under the age of 13. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Is donation secure?

Absolutely. The security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. We use industry-standard SSL (secure socket layer) technology to protect your information and provide a safe and secure environment for online donations.

A donation receipt will be sent to you at the email address that you would have provided while making donations, as soon as your donation is processed.
